Each year, the local fire brigade visits the school to talk to our year 3 students about fire safety.
Research has shown that this is an ideal age to educate students about fire safety in the home and when they are out and about.
Part of the visit involved students thinking about a meeting point outside the home, in case of a fire, and about the best actions to take to ensure their safety.
The students got to look at the equipment carried on fire trucks and had a chance to use one of the fire hoses.
It was suggested Mr Davies, Year 3 Teacher be squirted by his students, a bit of excitement for a second until he declined.
